Description:
The National Budget Directorate (DIPRENA) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) of the Republic of Panama has begun the process of implementing the Results-Based Management (RBM) methodology through the Results-Based Budget pillar ( PbR).From the different ed0311b314139639afa8d9993705f8a28PbR implementation approaches recognized by the international community of practices, the Training Program seeks to strengthen the technical and analytical capabilities of DIPRENA analysts, planners, budgeters of the Panamanian public sector, as well as other related actorsin the planning and budgeting stage of public policies in Panama in the understanding and implementation of the Management by Development Results approach and the Results-based Budget in Panama; in order to improve the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of theplanning, programming, formulation and execution of the General State Budget and thereby improve the quality of public spending, accountability and citizen participation. The DIPRENA of the MEF, within the framework of the implementation of the PbR, aims to add three hundred (300) public servantsicos/as of the Panamanian State, group 3, making them participate in level 1 of the training program.
